I had a great time on a bird walk with Kevin.
A volunteer at Santa Rosa Plateau in Wildomar, California lead the bird walk her name is Charity Hagen.
The trail was 2 miles staring at the visitor center.
On the bird walk we saw a Raven’s Nest
The walk was from 8:00-10:30 in the morning. We saw several new birds for our life list.
A Red-breasted Sapsucker was sipping at sap in a tree. It amazed me how long he hung on the tree with the group so close to him. I don’t have a close up lens to take a good picture of him so I will do my best to show you pictures. 🙂
- Our group looking at a Red-shoulder Hawk in a tree
A Red-shoulder Hawk flew by us we could see him clearly. He perched on a tree near us. He turned his head and seemed to look right at us.
